These are two of my best new sweet potato selections from the past few years.
The one on the left has the typical color of most purple flesh cultivars. It is an open pollinated seedling of Purple Delight, and grows better for me than its parent. It has medium-long vines.
The one on the right is unique in that it has a little bit of orange mixed in with the purple. This one lost its tag during its first season so I don’t know the parent. It has very long vines.
Both yield well, set tubers clustered tightly at the base of the vine, and produce a good amount of true seeds. I guess maybe I should name them now!
