Desert Peach seeds!

This spring I bought 8 Desert Peach (Prunus andersonii) seeds from Tradewinds Fruit. They arrived with the dried fruit still attached. I carefully cracked the seeds out of the pits with a hammer and 7 of the seeds looked good. I soaked them for a day and planted them in a 6” pot.

4 seeds have germinated and are looking really good. Now I just need to keep them alive through the summer. This may be tricky because are very sensitive to overwatering. If I can keep them alive, I will plant them in the fall into a raised bed with sandy, well-drained soil.
