Easter Lily Cactus (Echinopsis oxygona)
This cactus grows a short, spherical main column and sprouts lots pups from the base. These pups are loosely attached and break off easily and produce new plants. It has beautiful large pink flowers in spring. Easy to grow and hardy down to 15-20F.
This species is usually not self-fertile. I hand pollinated with a mix of pollen from other Echinopsis species, including: E. subdenudata, E. huascha and E. grandiflora hybrids of several different colors. These seeds may produce some interesting crosses.
Grown by Mike Jennings in 2025.
Packets of ~100 seeds.
