Torch Cactus (Echinopsis grandiflora) (aka: Soehrensia grandiflora)
 
This cactus grows globular pups that can eventually grow longer and laydown along the ground. It grows pups readily from the base. It has beautiful large white flowers bloom in spring. Easy to grow and hardy down to 15-20F.
 
This species is usually not self-fertile. I hand pollinated with a mix of pollen from other Echinopsis species, including: E. subdenudata, E. oxygona, E. huascha and E. grandiflora hybrids of several different colors. These seeds may produce some interesting crosses.
