A few years ago I made crosses using early determinate tomatoes (Forest Fire & Silvery Fir Tree) and colorful tomatoes (Blue Beauty, Berkeley Tie Dye, etc.). The result is what you see in the photos. They ripen much earlier than the colorful parents and don't grow as tall, but are not as early and bushy as the determinate parents.
